Motel None is a quiet, enigmatic image from Texas 2017. The letters of an old motel sign stand partially intact, spelling an incomplete message against the stark afternoon sky. The emptiness of the building and the faded promise of hospitality reflect a broader story of decline, abandonment, and the poetry of forgotten places. Frank Kayser’s lens freezes this transient world in a frame of haunting stillness.Late light washes a low-slung motel, turning faded paint and vinyl curtains into a quiet set piece. Oversized letters perch on the roof like half-remembered signage, while the empty paths hold the afterglow of miles traveled. The palette is warm and cinematic—Americana distilled. Museum-grade print on 100% cotton paper, signed, numbered, and issued with a certificate of authenticity.
