Last Stop
“Last Stop” is an image of solitude and transition. A single gas station stands isolated in the desert before Death Valley, bathed in surreal light. Shot during an Audi R8 production, this work becomes a cinematic icon of road trips, survival, and the poetry of the American roadside.Heat shimmer turns the forecourt into a pale stage, a bright canopy floating above two silent pumps. The scene is pure road-trip minimalism—distance, light, and a single piece of architecture holding the horizon. Museum-grade print on 100% cotton paper, signed, numbered, and issued with a certificate of authenticity.
Exhibited in the Leica Gallery Düsseldorf solo show “My Territory.”
