The My Territory series is one of Frank Kayser’s most personal collections. Carefully chosen locations form the foundation of his striking compositions, leading viewers on a journey through urban cityscapes, Californian dreams, and the photographer’s own homeland, the Rhön.

From aircraft carriers to the Chinese Wall, from Baikonur’s space station to hidden European streets, Frank Kayser has built an international reputation for creating images that combine precision, visual strength, and storytelling. Many of these works have become style-defining in automotive photography and have inspired commissions from brands such as Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and Lamborghini.

The exhibition “My Territory” at Leica Galerie Düsseldorf presented this body of work as a cross-section of his artistry – enriched with the legendary RGruppe Porsche series from California. Each piece reflects not only a place, but a way of life, elevated to fine art through stringent composition and emotional power.
